Bao Lac: Accomodation

Khach San Duc Tai Hotel

This hotel is located on the main road in Bao Lac next to the bridge and near the local market, on Khu 2 Tri Tran.

It looks very narrow from the outside and you enter the hotl via a nice reception area. I got a room looking out to the front, and the room was very spacious, with a comfortable  large double bed, table, chairs, TV, mini fridge and A/C. The en-suite bathroom was nice as well, with probably the most luxurious showers I had in SEA. There was one of these wobbly hand-held showers….but also a proper rain shower head. It was great for a relaxing shower. After a long day on a bike this is what you really appreciate.

The staff was very friendly. A younger man working in reception spoke good english, and he is very keen to practise a bit. So take the chance to have a chat with him, it helps to learn more about the area.

They serve breakfast in the morning, but didn’t eat there.

Nearby you have a few cafes, and the day market is just outside. Most food places are across the bridge, the one who is on the side of the hotel didn’t serve me.

Overall, it is a great hotel, and I would highly recommend to stay there. For 250.000 Dong it is good value for money.

They have a Facebook page with contact details.
