The bungalow is rather spacious, containing a double bed with a mosquito net, a desk and a fan. It has an en-suite bathroom, western style toilet with bucket-flash, and a hot-water shower, and it is open on the top wall, which could result in some visitors in the bathroom (including rather large spiders). No worries though, nothing can crawl into the room – the door is nicely closed. However, one slight problem is the wide gap underneath the door – I used a pillow to cover it and prevent a visit of nightly guests.
Each bungalow has its own little veranda with the very important, and very comfortable, hammock, a chair and a side table. This all helps to make yourself comfortable and enjoy a lazy day or a relaxing evening with a book or using the decent Wi-Fi connection. While the bungalows are not located directly to the river, you can still have a nice view of the mountains, and a few rooms have view to the river. The ground is lovely, and the owner keeps it clean and tidy.
The owner, a lovely older woman, could hardly speak any English, but she tried hard to communicate with the guest, and made everyone laugh with her friendly, humorous manner. She also offered cold drinks and laundry services.
Overall, it is a basic accommodation, but a very welcoming place with lots of character – it is difficult to find better value for money. Highly recommended.
