Say Lom Guesthouse

The Say Lom Guesthouse is the first accommodation on the right coming from the boat landing. I got the last single bungalow (they also had bungalows with two rooms next to each other – and no hammocks). It had a spacious room with a double bed, mosquito net and a fan (that didn’t work during the night as there was no electricity) and a clean large bathroom. Outside it had a little balcony with a comfortable hammock and a nice view across the Nam Ou river –  a perfect place to spend the afternoon to rest.

Due to the location next to the pier it could it could be a bit noisy in the morning when the boats leave the pier. On the other side it was close to the restaurants and bars, so I didn’t have to walk far after the lights were switched off.

The owner was very friendly, and they offered a laundry service.

Overall for the price of 30.000 Kip it was good value for money and I enjoyed my stay there.
