New year some destination. In 2016 I decided to return to Vietnam for a third time within 16 month. My friends asked why I always return there – and the answer is very simple – I missed the people, my friends, the food, the drinks – just everything. People might thing I like it here. But this is not correct – I love it. To ensure I do not get bored I planned to visit a few new place and doing a new activity. This year I decided to take advantage of my new motorbike licence and explore the far north east Cao Bang and Ha Giang provinces on the back of a bike. I heard so many great things about the beauty, so I was glad I could finally visit the less visited area taking advantge of my new motorbike licence. What could  go wrong???

I also planned to return to Hanoi for a second time – and spend a week wtih friends in HCMC.  I was excited when I left – and I was surely not disppointed.

After my great experience in Vietnam in December and January I was able to return there six month after leaving the country. I couldn’t resist to head back to see new places (which I did), meeting more of these wonderful people (I did this too), eating more of the delicious food (I found more and more great dishes) – and catching up friends I made during my last trip.

There was a little change for this time – I added an activity I wanted to do a bit during my trip, scuba diving. It was exciting to do something new during a return trip. And I can only say, this trip was once again amazing, I had a perfect time.

After several short trips to SEA, I had the chance to travel for 3 months, and it was easy to decide where I will head again. So for three month I am now travelling through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. As it is a longer trip, I will try to write about my experience – to share with friends and family, but also a chance for me to revisit the trip over and over again.
